TABLEY HOMES SUBMITS PLANS TO REDEVELOP TARPORLEY’S FORMER WILD BOAR INN

Tabley Homes submits plans to redevelop Tarporley’s former Wild Boar Inn

Proposed Scheme Will Create 14 Luxury New Homes

Tabley Homes has submitted a full planning application for the refurbishment and conversion of the former Wild Boar Inn and the surrounding site to create 14 new luxury four, five and six bedroom homes in Tarporley, Cheshire.

Designed by architectural practice, Baldwin Design Consultancy, the proposed scheme, which is situated off Whitchurch Road, will see the sensitive restoration of the Grade 2 listed building and surrounding dilapidated outbuildings.

Sam Ashworth, Project Director at Tabley Homes, comments: “This site is an important part of the area’s heritage so we wanted to design an exceptional scheme that not only respected the local vernacular but crucially, one that will breathe new life into this now neglected historical building.

“By adopting the characteristics of the area, we have incorporated a varied pallet of designs and materials, including the traditional and distinctive black and white Tudor style features of the Wild Boar Inn and the popular red Cheshire brick used locally, to create a stunning and safe environment in a rural setting.”
